Before we can be deeply present with another person, participate meaningfully in community, live reciprocally with nature, or listen for something greater than ourselves, we need to develop a relationship with the person doing the relating.

But knowing yourself is different from constantly thinking about yourself. Self-study is the lifelong practice of learning to see yourself clearly—your patterns, needs, values, intuition, conditioning, protective responses, desires, and the quieter knowing beneath them.

The True Self isn't something to attain. It is something we continually return to.

In our first gathering, we will explore what it means to move from managing ourselves to actually being in relationship with ourselves. We will begin noticing what pulls us away from ourselves and what helps us return.
